Support expert nutrition learning

MyNutriWeb webinars and content are free to access, but that doesn’t mean they come without cost.

Producing high quality, relevant and CPD-accredited events takes funding. We are led by our community and its needs, and independent-minded rather than commercially influenced. That’s why we’re inviting you to support us.

If you’ve liked and learned from one of our expert-led webinars, please consider making a small financial contribution to reflect its value to you.

Every contribution, no matter what amount, helps us continue to deliver our programme and make quality nutrition learning accessible to all professionals. And, in the longer term, it powers our mission to help improve the health of people and our planet.

We sincerely appreciate your support.

FAQs

Why is MyNutriWeb asking for contributions?

MyNutriWeb webinars and content are free, but that doesn’t mean they come without cost.

MyNutriWeb needs additional revenue to continue to deliver nutrition learning of the highest quality, develop new services for the community and provide access to even more professionals.

That’s why we are inviting those who can afford it to consider making a financial contribution this year.

You can select the amount you wish to give, and contribute on a per-webinar basis or as a monthly subscription.

We are hugely grateful to everyone who actively supports MyNutriWeb’s learning programme, and contributes to our mission to improve the health of people and our planet.

Where does my money go?

All financial contributions from the community support the delivery of high-quality professional learning opportunities, including our programme of expert-led webinars and other events. They also support the technology needed to deliver our programme as our community of professionals joining our events continues to grow.

How do I make a contribution?

You can find contribution forms on webinar pages, as well as links in the emails sent out after each webinar. We are using a third-party service called Donorbox to manage contributions. You can use most major payment cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Card details are processed using secure encryption and no card data is stored. Please contact contributions@mynutriweb.com if you need help.

What is your donor privacy policy?

We are committed to protecting the privacy rights of our supporters and will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Please see our privacy policy for full details.

How do I cancel my monthly payment?

When you set up a monthly contribution you will create an account using Donorbox, our chosen platform for managing contributions. To cancel or change a monthly payment you will need to log in to your account, and cancel the subscription or update your details as necessary. Please contact contributions@mynutriweb.com if you need help.

Are my donations tax deductible?

MyNutriWeb is not a charity and your support does not constitute a charitable donation. It is not eligible for Gift Aid in the UK, nor a tax deduction elsewhere.

Can you get a refund for a contribution?

Should you make a contribution in error, or your circumstances change, unfortunately you will not be eligible for a refund.

Why does MyNutriWeb support charities while asking for contributions for its own work?

MyNutriWeb seeks to advance the overall goal of better, more sustainable nutrition for all, and supports other organisations with similar aims where possible. Some of our experts have kindly donated their speaker honorariums to our chosen charities, and our team have also donated monies gained from external speaker platform opportunities.

Who should I contact if I have a question about making a contribution?

Please feel free to contact MyNutriWeb if you have any questions. Just drop an email to contributions@mynutriweb.com

Who owns MyNutriWeb?

MyNutriWeb was founded and is owned by Dietitian, Tanya Haffner. To date MyNutriWeb has largely been funded from her Nutrition consultancy and communications business Nutrilicious Limited, in addition to some carefully chosen partner contributions, in exchange for suitable promotional opportunities. It has been developed and managed for the benefit of the wider nutrition community. However, more funding is required to allow us to do more for you in delivering a service of the highest quality, as well as supporting more professionals. This is why we are introducing voluntary contributions in 2023.

In our previous survey we asked if members would be happy to contribute financially and we were pleased to see such a positive response. We will continue to provide free webinars and content along with other low budget accredited learning opportunities, but we will ask for voluntary contributions from those who feel able to do so. We simply ask that if you are happy with what we are providing you, that you make a contribution of your choice, when possible, to support the mission and enable us to keep creating learning opportunities for all professionals. We remain committed to making high-quality professional knowledge as accessible as possible to all professionals.
