The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, your name, address, telephone number, your e-mail address, your professional information, including your job title, your area of expertise, your professional interests, your professional memberships, as well as your responses to questionnaires, forms or surveys)
• Online identifiers including IP addresses, location and cookie identifiers

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• To register for an event
• To enrol in a course
• To download resources
• To opt in to email communication
• To respond to a survey or questionnaire
• To complete a form to register for specific information
• To ask us a question or send us an enquiry

We also receive personal information (your IP address) indirectly from Google Analytics on your website behaviour if you accept all tracking cookies.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

• Provide you with details for our events and send you your CPD certificates afterwards
• Give you access to courses you enrol on
• Download resources
• Send you email communication to share details of news, events, resources, sales, etc that we may think you will be interested in or you have requested
• Analyse any survey responses and notify of you if you win any prize draws associated with our surveys
• Respond to any enquiry you may have sent to us

We may share this information with organisations or individuals to support us to fulfil the requirements of your interaction, currently this includes the following IT platforms we use internally to fulfil our obligations to you:

• GoToWebinar
• Zoho
• Dropbox
• Sprout Social

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.

We keep your personal data in our internal IT systems including our CRM and email systems.

Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
• Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

• Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
