CONTENT AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES

There is considerable controversy surrounding the safe use of sweeteners in the diet, including for diabetes management. This webinar is designed to provide the very latest evidence on the role of sweeteners and sweetness in diabetes management to help healthcare professionals give practical and evidence-based advice.

Although all sweeteners used in the UK and Europe have undergone rigorous safety testing, controversy surrounding their use remains. This confusion amongst both patients and professionals can be explained by the inconsistent and sometimes contradictory information that is presented in relation to their safety, role in weight management and links to other health conditions.
